Filter Clean
All filters need to be periodically cleaned over the length of a pool season. We recommend cleaning filters twice a year (Spring & Fall).
Daily filter cycles and routine vacuuming can lead to a build-up of dirt, debris, grease, oil and scale that routine backwashing cannot remove. This kind of build-up will lead to reduced filtration efficiency of the pool filter, resulting in cloudy, murky water.
Reduced filter efficiency can also encourage algae growth and reduce the effectiveness of your pool maintenance products.

DE Filter Cleaning Service
• Total dismantling
• Complete cleaning and inspection of the grids
• Replace with new o-ring before reassembling
• Recharge DE filter
Even after a thorough backwash, the filter still retains some dirt and debris, which over time prevents the filter from cleaning the pool water efficiently. Only taking apart and cleaning the grids will get this filter back to normal operation. After cleaning the filter grids, you will be able to see the difference. This service should be performed at least once a year or as needed.

• Replace with new o-ring before reassembling
Sand Filter Cleaning Service
Bi-Annually use of a sand cleaner will help remove oils and other build up in the sand however when this no longer keeps the pool clean the next step is:
•Total dismantling
• Removal of old sand
• Complete cleaning and inspection of all parts
• Addition of new sand
